3:23 I know this is an older video, but I'll put my two cents in anyways 😅 I think, the story they went with, was just as dark. It just wasn't as Visa really dark. But it showed the horrors of colonialism, and the horrors of what happened in early American history. I think it hadn't even more important message,that especially at the time was not often told. Especially when he's brought to the fort, I was reminded of how indigenous children, were stolen from their homes and brought to residential schools. One of the first things they would do also, was cut their hair. It was a way to distance himself from their culture and was intended to be cruel... These places were meant to break indigenous children... So the parallels, we're just so clear to me. I don't know if that was their intention. But that was what I got from it. I love how I felt like the native americans, were not these one-dimensional characters, there was actual depth to them. I think it was even more important back then, because Native Americans didn't often get representation. (&We still have a long way too go) I love how their plight is shown a sympathetic way, and it's even shown how they would be just existing, living their lives, and would be attacked. 😢 It was one of my first experiences as a child, realizing stuff like that could happen. Realizing that my own country had a part in it. Definitely was eye-opening, and I think it was important. I've heard, that they actually spoke to people from the Lakota tribe too. Which is awesome. I definitely think it was much better with the story they ended up choosing. Had a deeper impact because of it imo.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the final DLC they add to Planet Zoo is a fully marine animal pack. Although there are still a few animals from the original Zoo Tycoon series that haven’t been added into PZ, like the Nile Crocodile.
